BREAK RECORDS AT LOUIS, ATE BREAKFAST AT GUCCI
I finally had time out of my busy schedule to drop in on New York’s hottest exhibition at the moment, “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez: Louis Vuitton.” This showcase is nothing short of a trip through time, textures, fabrics and creativity. From the history on the Vuitton family to the voluminous wardrobes... from the infamous monogram canvas to the latest collaboration with Supreme and anything in between, they got you covered. The showcase features archives on loan from the Palais Galliera, Musee de la Mode de la Ville de Paris, and Hillwood and Lyndhurst estates. Housed in the former American Stock Exchange Building, curator Olivier Saillard picked this location based on its grave detail down to the ceiling matching the delicately painted perfume bottles of Vuitton’s son favorite fragrances. The exhibition is free and open to the public until January 7th, 2018. So don’t hesitate to book your visit now and live like the Louie Vuitton Don for a day.
